Onboarding Flow for EventX

Using EventX in your event can encourage and engage your attendees to get connected to each other and grasp latest information on event agenda and speaker profiles. 

Invite your attendees to download Event App

Step 1: Go to Event app Invite Attendees page, then click the "Send Email" button.

Step 2: You will see EventX Native & Web Invitation email template and you can edit the email by clicking the "Edit message" button.

Reminder: Please do not remove the ticket reference merge tag as it is the activation code to verify redemption on Event App.

Step 3: Save the changes and select the recipients to send out the email.

 

Event App Onboarding

Onboarding flow 1: Redeem the event by Event App Activation Code

1. Download EventX from AppStore, Google Playstore or HUAWEI AppGallery.

2. Click EventX icon to enter the Event List page

3. Click the "Activate Event" button.

4, Input the email address and the activation code. Then, click "Redeem".

5. Set the password then click "Sign in"

6. Select the event from the event list and starting surfing the content

Onboarding Flow 2: Sign up or Log In then redeem the event

1. Dowload EventX from AppStore or Google Playstore

2. Click EventX icon to enter the Event List page

3. Click the human button on the right top corner.

4, If you are the EventX existing user, please insert the email address and password to log in.

If you haven't signed in EventX, please click "New user?". After that, you need to insert the email address and set up the password to create an account.

5. After login the account, please click "Activate Event" button.

6. Input your activation code provided by the organiser to redeem the event

Onboarding Flow 3: Redeem the event by Event App Activation Code (Web App version)

If the attendees would like to use the web app version instead of install EventX. They can click the web app link to access the event and visit the event modules (eg, Agenda, Speaker, Sponsor, Live Q&A, polling, custom webview etc.)

However, if they would like to access "Attendee" they will need to login by redeeming the event access using the activation code.

1. Go to the web app and then click into Attendee Module and click "Sign in" Now.

2. Input the email address and the activation code. Then, click "Redeem".

3. Set the password then click "Sign up"

4.  The user can access the attendee module.
