Overseas Events (using Pocket Wifi)

To deliver a seamless check-in experience for your overseas events, do check in the following:

Before leaving Hong Kong

• Make sure you get your pocket wifi (with WPS function, if you are using QL-720NWB label printer), ready
• Pair up the iPad and Printer with the same pocket wifi to ensure they are in the same network
• Login the Check-in App, choose the correct printer and conduct test print to make sure everything is connected and works fine

After arriving at event destination

• Get a local SIM card from a local vendor
• Ask the local vendor to install the SIM card in the pocket wifi to ensure the pocket wifi function properly
• With a valid local SIM card, use Safari to visit a website. If you can surf a website successfully, internet connection works fine with this SIM card.
• Login the Check In App in you iPad and the label printer should be ready to use. Learn more on onsite check-in trouble shooting
